Two XCON 15's :drink40: That amp looks very beefy inside. All of the red wires looks cool :morepower1:

I like your false floor setup. Good use of factory stuff.

I was told My build log would get more views if i took pics of my kittens. I don't have kittens so you get pics of my dog corso. He's a 2.5 year old rednose pitbull and this was him attempting to help my mother and I paint one day.

Those Zcons are going to beat the piss out of that Scion. That's a good lookin' dog you've got there, reminds me of a rednose I had a few years ago.

I'm hoping so...

Yeah and about corso....saved him from an animal shelter that saved him from some idiot that had him dog fighting. Which is very odd cus he's a great dog, never barks, great with other dogs and animals, and loves kids.

Loving the progress, especially the dog. I love my dogs more than anything else in the world, even if you are having a crappy day they are always there for you. ZCON'S are going to rip that Toyota apart!

Doors had some stock "deadener" much like the cld tiles. I just added to it and around it.

IMG_20111126_122125.jpg

Getting ready to cut the mlv....of course Corso had to help me.

IMG_20111126_131055.jpg

MLV with the CCF attached.

IMG_20111126_131834.jpg

Both doors done.....

Well I thought they were done. Seems I should have listened to the instructions better and done it outside on the door itself. But 30 degrees was not fun.

And I learned my mistake when putting the mlv/ccf back on the door and trying to get the door panel on and it didn't work out.

IMG_20111201_114928.jpg

The IA comps in the door. I ended up having to move the xovers because there was no room behind the door panel.

IMG_20111201_115952.jpg

The MLV/CCF on the doors. As you can see I ended up trimming quite a bit to make it fit. But I believe all of the necessary parts were covered.

IMG_20111201_125657.jpg

The IA tweets sitting in the corner of the doors.

IMG_20111201_134742.jpg

Didn't know scion used pioneer comps as stock speakers....thought you had to get the upgrade.

IMG_20111201_125709.jpg

One of the reasons I love this car. That is 2/0 welding cable sitting pretty in the stock wire clips.

IMG_20111201_132852.jpg

Drivers side with the rca's. Gonna have to figure out where to run the welding cable for the ground.

IMG_20111128_123302.jpg

Got this the other day!

IMG_20111201_142845.jpg

Getting ready to go in.

IMG_20111201_145739.jpg

Setting up the kenwood deck for the IA comps.

Don't worry about the situation with it. Just putting it in to check out the comps

Action shot of the 800prs, showing off the idle voltage.

Like to comment on Pioneer..

I have a Scion tC and they have stock Pioneer speakers in them...

So, just how capable are the stock Pioneers... :)

I was able to run my Pioneers, rated at 20w per driver on a sundown 100.4 PER channel for about 6 months without failure.

They were extremely loud.. a little peaky at times..

I had then switched to some IDs and i lost a little bit of the peakiness but replaced with more subtle sounding front stage while getting decently loud for what bass install i had.

Nice. yeah I should have figured they were pioneer speakers since the stock decks are pioneers.

They really weren't that bad tbh, but I am definetly enjoying these IA comps.

How much of a difference did you notice with the SDS products?

Well I have very little play time with it installed.

And I feel its not going to be a fair comparison seeing as I went from stock to the IA comps.

But I can tell you that they IA comps do sound amazing so far. I feel I can safely assume that part of that is the deadening in the door. Very tight "poppy" bass.

After I get some drive time and listen time, I will make some better reports.

After I first got the headliner off.

IMG_20111202_134843.jpg

My great stuff and SDS CLD tiles.

IMG_20111202_140203.jpg

After the great stuff. Did clean it up a little bit.

IMG_20111202_141331.jpg

After the cld tiles went up.

IMG_20111202_143633.jpg

Acoustica Mat up.

So since I didn't have the time to put the subs back in it was hard to judge how well this was working....but I did the next best thing I could think of. Took it to the carwash.

Now if anyones ridden in a scion they know that when it rains it just sounds like a sheet metal getting hit with rain. Very loud and annoying.

Well when I went through the car wash I couldnt even tell the water was hitting it. Was like a mild low note if that makes sense.

So I can't wait to see how it handles the zcons.
