Clean up that sawdust inside there

No sawdust in there now. This thing will have so little power going to it, port noise is of no concern. Goin in the trunk of an '04 Grand Am. 1.3 cubes tuned to 32.46 Hz. Had to pull the magnet boot off to get that sucker to fit without hitting the pipe.

Cover piece and carpet will be done tomorrow. If I have enough carpet. Can't wait for the PE arrival.

where in the grand am is that going? i don't know off hand how much the trunk changed from my '99 gt 4dr... but I just cant see that fitting along the wall...?

maybe I'm thinking of the wrong placement :)

Otherwise, good looking enclosure amigo

If You would, let me know what You think of that amp... I still ahve a few of their comp's sitting around.

Up against the rear seat perhaps? Think of the top picure flipped around (port on bottom) ... the slant will go the other way (IE: fit up against the slanted seat back).

You'd be correct. I was going to do something with glass along the side. Then I opened the trunk and saw the big lot of wasted space between the seat and the metal. You really can't do anything with it, so I figured this would suit her better keeping the full width of the trunk and only decreasing the length by one inch.

gotcha... I was thinking along the lines of glass in the corner.

It's nice looking work either way though, didnt mean to slight You :P

The grill is staying. I didn't want a mesh one. Not strong enough with the way she throws things around in her trunk and with a stroller rolling around in it all the time. I simply took one of those old cheap screw-dwon type grills I had lying around and mounted it to a wooden ring and bingo. Does the job well and looks a hell of a lot better covered with grill cloth.

Ahh, yes

My mom is like that. I was scared to have my 12o in her trunk, it had some chafing marks on the cone when i swapped it out
