17----49,1----11,84----581,3----12,96-------4

16----42,2----21,6-----911,5----12,73-------2

16----39,4----38,06----1499,5---12,32-------1

Thread about the Test

i will do some test on my own with videos, i test my 1k5h already and i got

69 ac volt x 21 ac amps (1449 rms @ 3.28ohms impedance rise burping @ 56hz with two dd1512 144.7db :D

I had a 1k5h @ 2ohms and the subs were at 2ohms nominal impedance voltage drop was around 12.9v

This is what i remember, im never made a video, but i was testing before i was going to a show and i got impressed, i will never forget it, when i saw that 69ac volts on the meter !!

and the amplifier is smaller than a sheet of paper

pretty soon i will do videos

Specs on the amplifier

Stetsom is very good at maiking a ton of power in a small package. This is clearly class D and "full range" Though if freq response is only to 10Khz you might want to run something else to tweets if you have any hearing left over that mark.

Nice. Class d or class a/b ??

The Vulcan line they are Class D amplifier

The 1k5h is the half bridged amplifier class D with 95 % of efficiency

4 OHMS – 96%

1K5 – 2 OHMS

2 OHMS – 84%

4 OHMS - 91%

I like the small footprint, and the efficiency !

I will try one of these someday, for sure !

Are these amps only for SPL or can they be used for daily use as well. I am looking at using this to power probably two FI SSD 10 inch subwoofers or should I look at another amplifier.

These amps work very well in daily use applications as well as SPL applications

We have had a few people order these to pair up with an SSA Xcon and they have been really happy with the results.

Is there any way to disconnect the fan? Its very annoying. I dont think it really needs it, its well ventilated.

Why chance it? You didn't design the amp, I'm guessing that the people who DID, decided it needed a fan to keep it happy as long as possible.

I still want to know if it would be ok to disconnect it. Im even willing to buy a better quieter fan, but the one in there is VERY loud.

Impressive amp, I wonder how a XCON 15 would sound with this.

We have had a few customers team them up so far with nothing but positive feedback. :)

Still nothing on the fan?

Its been a great amp. But it's embarrassing when I want to show someone my system and this noisy ass fan is heard when the volume is low. Its really bad if I want to drive with no music and all you can hear is this annoying fan in the background.

It's got to cool somehow, with as small and as powerful as they are they NEED a push-pull airflow system.

Hey there,

im sorry for the problem you are having but you can not take the fan outta the amplifier

I have heard some cases like this, something the fan get out place do the vibration and make noise, try to take a look at the fan and see if its hits something of if there is something on the way

what it might work too is to change the position of the amplifier,
