second battery ground question.

i know most people run a ground wire from the battery up front and then ground the second battery in the rear. but i dont have the room to run 2 0 guage wires. so my question is can i just make a good ground in the back and b done with it??? because i thought a ground was a ground. thanks for the help

Most people don't run a second ground, ground to the frame.

depends what kinda car truck or suv.....

full steal frame? to the frame be sure to do the big three...

sub frame or a two part frame.. or a uni body.... i would run the wire to the front.

run it to one of the bolts at the strut tower if you can. You can usually access the rear ones or front ones, and those are always hella solid on vehicles..

thanks, its an 06 monte carlo so i think its a unibody. so with a unibody i can just drill a hole and keep that short ground and b ok.

You will be good. I personally like to use a bolt through the trunk floor, with a lock nut on the underside of the car so the bolt don't come loose. Don't forget to make sure its bare metal.wink.gif
