The Jeep : 4th Order No-Wall Build

Decided to finally get started on it. The Jeep will be getting a no-wall 4th order build with two 15s.

* Battery / Amp Rack area cleaned out... everything un-installed. My multi-channels will sit on those two little platforms where the batteries used to be.

* New floor piece cut - everything will attach to this piece.

* Of course XS Power D1600s will be used

That is all for now... just ripped it all out this morning and Brandon helped me cut out the floor piece. Will make progress when time allows.

Aruco ply from Lowes. Similar performance to Birch ** but a good bit cheaper... have used it before and it worked well for me.

** - It is stronger than "cabinet grade birch" but not as strong as "baltic birch" -- typically the cabinet grade is what is sold at Lowes and ONLY the faces are actually birch.

* Floor installed... checked with a level.

* SAX-125.2 under this side (midbass)

* SAX-50.4 under this side (midrange and tweeters)

I will eventually build a cover for this lower area as that should help increase SPL.

i use Aruco, there was a sale out here that had it for 17 a sheet lol, its a lil soft but works really well, looken good jacob

They work well for SPL I have helped with several 4th order full walls that worked great... and we have a local in South Carolina doing a 4th order no-wall that works great as well.
