  1. 1. would you buy sundown components if they made them?

  2. 2. 2way or 3 way (check all that apply)

We are trying to grow slow and steady... spending alot of time on each and every product. I don't want to spread myself too thin and come out with something that isn't the best it can be.

nothing wrong with that, i wouldn't mind paying to be a beta tester.

X2,000,000 I'd gladly pay to be a Sundown Audio BETA tester!!!

I have a friend who is basically a BETA tester for Bowler Transmission. He helps them design specialized parts, cases and other crap then throws the tranny in one of his machines and puts the balls to the wall to see if it does what it's supposed to do.

I'd do that for Sundown in a heartbeat. If for no other reason just to help spread the Sundown Audio name around here!

I asked this question is another thread about the SA-10.

Since I was ignored, I'd thought I'd try here.

Anyone know the woofer specs for these?

It's not on the main website. :puzzled:

I need 2 things:

Xmax = ??

SPL @ 1w/1m = ??

Trying to design an enclosure but I need these figures to pull it off.

Help would be deeply appreciated. :wavey5:

IMO... poor way to start the message - I don't actually see every post on the forum so I'm not ignoring anyone.

In any event - the Xmax is the same as the 12s @ 19mm one-way linear.

1w/1m SPL is not really needed for any reason for subwoofers as it's measured at 1000 hz, IMO - but in case your program calls for it the figure is 83.3 dB

Thanks man,

I wasn't trying to sound like an a**.

Typing on a forum is kinda informal (no sense of body language).

Sorry if I came off as a weenie! LOL

It all depends on if they will be your standard car audio speakers (better quality for the money since they are Sundown) or if they will be pro audio style drivers.

I am designing both -- and both will be excellent quality.

I just don't have an ETA for either.
