Hahaha oh yeah, I've grown up working on these things. We have three right now.

You are looking at the only Isuzu 2.8l turbo diesel Range Rover in the united states. We've done that engine conversion, tranny replace, paint, electrical stuff, just tons of stuff. It's fun though :)

I kinda want one. Almost jumped on a decent 240D, but it just did not have enough thrust to keep up with Baltimore/DC traffic.

Yeah they aren't very quick, but will last absolutely forever. In finland they do the om605 and om606 conversions and throw a lot of boost at them and do some amazing stuff. Here's an example:

Yeah they are really hard to come by too. But it would be totally worth it. I want to do an om606 in a 190e with the evolution II kit. That would be ideal.
