So....

Recommended Posts

After our monthly crew meeting at work one of my coworkers was driving in front on me. We both ended up at the same bank and he came up laughing at me. I asked him what was up and he said he could feel my bass on his back in his truck while driving in front of me.

Thought that was pretty funny with 2 15" xcons sealed.

It's funny really, people just assume they wont be loud sealed. I had 2 15's sealed too back in the day and they will get fucking down!

Back in the day I had a friend with two sealed Soundstream SPL 12's and they were insane.

Back in 1992 I had 2 Blues 15s sealed on 45 watts rms and it had AMAZING sound and got LOUD too ...

I really enjoy listening to sealed enclosures ...

Also, a guy in our crew has a setup with 16 10s sealed ... the notes from that thing makes it feel like someone hits you in the back of the head with a baseball bat ...

45 watts rms

:morepower1::roflmao:

Honestly, I've always prefered the sound of sealed enclosures. Don't get me wrong though, I love my ported Dcon.

I guess my sarcasm didn't translate too well. :ughdunno: Just trying to make a joke about people thinking you need tons of power to get loud. Fail joke is fail.

My system I have running now is around 800 watts ... on 4 10s isoberic ... it gets kinda loud

But this throws the thread off because my enclosure I have now is ported ... Sorry folks ... and no, I dont think you need tons of power to make loud music ...
