For the love of Xcons

Recommended Posts

Awesome pictures guys! The first photo is outstanding. I need to get a old machine of ours back up soon, as it has some classic SSA pictures on it. Here is the Dcon 12 Prototype leaning on its grandfather, the original Icon prototype.

When you install the zcons, give it a good listen. Then pull one out and put something in the box that takes up volume. This would raise tuning, then you could sorta get a ballpark idea if you still wanna tune higher or not :ughdunno:

Use a volume tuning calc on 12volt, then plug in current dimensions and volume, then subtract volume of object you put in, then see where tuning goes.

Use the calc and figure out how much smaller the box would need to be to be at the tuning you want. then make a small wood box from scrap wood to that volume?

Maybe fit a basketball? lol. Might cause weird unloading though.

Everytime I see this thread title I hear For the love of Money by Bone Thugs n' Harmony. Nice picture of the Xcon Danny, do you mind if I use it? and does this mean you have something you want to sell me now :gayhaaay1:
