OK Guys.. Here is info-

this company is Tempest.

They are the House brand for the following company-

www.batteryspec.com

All battery specs listed are their AGM TR line.

If you have any questions, ask me. I've been on the phone with them for a while the past few days.

I will NOT be using these and trust me, i've tried to find every type of combo possible to run their batts to save money..

In my application, i'm limited space and i can just BARELY fit 6 D3100s in my car which will excel over what i can fit with their batts and i get a monsterous discount on XS as a competitor too.

I've been looking at getting some of these for a couple months now for my next build. They seem to be a good battery and they have great pricing.

i would assume so stefan...

Typical size starting batts that are smaller than G31s, these batts will dip low everytime the vehicle is started and may only last ~2-3yrs so not adviseable..

Now.. if u could put a 20" long batt in there, lol, then no problem..

A bank of these batts though.. that's where it's at!

Yeah I think these would be great for vehicles with lots of space, lots of playing time, and weight isn't an issue.

In my case, xs power batts can give me the power I need in a small package, and relatively light :P

Well, for my app, space is an issue too..

Now for weight.. quit lyin, lol

I seen u say in the other thread u are baggin your ride.

Mine's gettin bagged too so that can't be a reason, hehe.

But seriously, the TR140 batt is only 87lbs and will destroy the XS D3100 in a direct comparison, hands down so weight isn't an issue there.

Only thing is it's 6" longer, other than that, no difference.. except it's cheaper too.

I'm not bagging shit, I'm ordering eibach springs soon :P

I unfortunately can't fit a d3100 in my cargo area, perhaps if I put it on it's side I could put one behind each fenderwell, but the d1200 fits perfectly. Probably replace starting batt with 3100 though.

Between two d1200s on each side and a dc alt, I should have enough power to run a saz3000d or saz4500d :)

i wonder if my 3500d would be happy with 2 of these's???

Well I can say that I have a shit stock alt, generic starting battery, and a single d1200 in the rear, with a saz3000d.

Gain is set relatively low but I can still hammer on it with somewhat decent voltage.

If you plan on upgrading alts then between the new alt and two of them, you'd probably be good. (assuming your not playing very long / loud with the car off).

If no new h/o alt, then they may not be enough. Do you know what amperage your stock alt can produce?
