is this a coupe? I got a 96 coupe. I'm guessing that nook has a cracked firmware? How responsive is that thing? What other programs or whatever can you do on that? Have you used other "tablets"? It looks to fit perfectly with little work. lol. I had a thought of doing an ipad install for mine but ipads are expensive.

is a 4dr, yeah its the cyanogenmod 7 firmware and it pretty responsive and i can overclocked it too. I just use mainly for playing music but i do have a couple music videos. I tried using the torque app but is has to be lying flat. I wanted to an ipad too but didn't have the money and that would have required more work.

I love the dash. Where does the audio signal from the tablet go to to get the appropriate RCA connections?

nice. if i didn't already have a double din nav i would install some form of android tablet in my car. Ipads are dope but the cheapest one is like 399 and they only come in one large size which would make them pretty hard to cleanly install in most cars vs android tablets coming in multiple sizes. hell for the price of a ipad i would rather just make some form of dock for a netbook. wouldn't be as clean looking but way more features for less scratch.

I wanted a iPad too, but didn't have iPad money, the nook just so happen to fit so perfect with little modifications.

I learn how to use google sketchup last night and this is what i have came up with for a box. Hopefully i will start building it this weekend once i finalized the dimensions. its a little more than 6 cubes after port and sub displacement.

Box looks like it should pound! Are you assembling it in the trunk?

After leaning how ports works, I realized I don't have enough room for a ported box, so here is the new design. 5.5 cubes sealed

Use aeroports. You got lots of room.

for about 100inches of port area and my box to stay at 6-7 cubes after displacement, they would have to be external and to long, 4 6" ports would be 34" long. only if i had a 15 i wouldn't have a problem.

You could always recone to a 15 and then sell the 18" basket. Or post up in the classifieds and see if someone wants to trade for a 15".
