4th order for a Warden/ Will it work?

Recommended Posts

I want to do a 4th order for a single 21" Warden. What I want to know is has anybody had success with any Warden in a fourth and if so, what was the sealed/ported ratio? I plan on tuning relatively low for daily use, but there's no point in spending the time and money on the box if it won't work ya know!

Many people have, noisy cricket for 1 is running four 15's, bola is running 4 18's. Both put up some amazing numbers. And I am sure there is many more out there. These are just two that I can vouch for. Oh I think bola's is a 6th order.

I don't know if it is or not, but considering its only gonna be in my truck until I get my other 3, I wanted to try something different.

Why not try what works best to fill your goals?

My goal is try something different while I'm in between builds. I'm not sold on a BP, but its between that and a horn.

So you'd like to build a less effective enclosure to "try" something different?

And you don't have room for a horn, not even close so scratch that.

A folded or tapered horn could work, it'll just take dome time on Hornresp.

I could put a 21" driver in a .2cuft box too and it would "work".

I imagine response in a horn would be quite good, it will be very large due to the immense cone area though, just as you said earlier.

I would not mind a Mercedes Sprinter Van. Drove a couple, I like them for what they are.
