SA-8 ~ Crazy Long Port

This is a box for a single Sundown Audio SA-8 woofer. Since the chamber is so small, the port needs to be considerably longer than normal to maintain a low tuning while still providing adequate port area. As you can see, some dead space had to be used to drop the volume a little.

Tuning: 33hz

Dimensions: 30" wide x 10" tall x 11" deep

I have been working on a box like that, only with 2 sa-8 subs. And the box ended up looking like yours, just a bit bigger. LOL
