IA 40.1 version 2

Hi guys im really thinking about getting a 40.1 before the sale ends next week.my question is would it be noticable difference between the rd d9( i have one at the moment) and the 40.1.has anybody clamped it yet or how much power would i see at .5 starting impedance a t 14v?

I believe the new IA 40.1 is an all new circuit design and of course smaller footprint. But just like the old version it will do more than rated and be stable to .5 ohm. You won't hear an audible difference between old and new.

I think he's asking if their would be a difference between the d9 and the 40.1

Its hard to say really, but you would need to double the power to hear a noticeable difference, and I doubt the 40.1 will do all that.

I'm sure the 40 isn't as power hungry as the d9, I do kno of a 40 clamped on 18v doin around 8k or a lil more.

Here is what one competitor got on a 16v setup....thats 9921 watts

What about a 12v setup, any test done at that voltage?
