The SSA ZCON 18"s rebuild!

Recommended Posts

As most of you know I had my DD 9518Z for sale. Well it sold, and I ordered two SSA ZCON 18"s for the PT.

A good friend of mine and I started a "Team" but not a team. Lol. Were called "Southern Hertz". To get in our group wont be easy. But well worth it. Notice the shop I'm always working in LOL.

This is just the start. :-)

Well, I've always hated messy wiring, I know, I'm like the king of it. But it drives me crazy. So tonight. A friend and I decided to fix my issue.

We started with this not to shabby. But could be better.

Then went in order of these photos.

Took everything out. Old amp rack. Batteries. All of it.

:dancing: just wait bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEX WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!

That's what I'm hoping for!

Ill have low power for now, a single M3a @.5ohm. Ill get a second and run each strapped at 2ohm, so 1 ohm per amp, daily. And strapped at .5ohm, .25 per amp, for competitions. :-)

Nice battery box, off to a good start. :fing34: Wait, you're gonna run .25 ohm in comps? How's that any different than running .175 ohm?..... Just messing bro, a little crack from a convo with AllenH427. :roflmao: In to see how you fit a coffin in a PT Cruiser. :dancing: 18s FTW!

What the hell do you have wired to that 100.4, and how?? haha

Looks clean. Remember to take your positive to amp from one end of your battery bank, and the negative to amp from the other :)

Its 9 in 1 speed wire from Stinger.

And I tried every possible wiring configuration for batteries. All the same results.
