battery terminals and buss bars

Recommended Posts

KNU sells similar ones that I have used in the past!

the only down side to them is the hole in the center is about 5/16 (0.31252") and i believe they are about 0.25 thick, so you will need a longer screw! so if you are using one of those big D3100 batteries that have a 3/8 hole you will have to some how drill that bigger!

if you are against crimping on terminals then these are the answer!

I would recommend getting some simpler terminals that you can solder if you are going for performance. I could see those thing being hard to work with

These types of terminals have been in use for years, so no issues with them. You can make the buss bars yourself if you have a drill press. You can actually make it to accept the wire just as those teminals will.

Well those terminals were mainly for on the batteries.

My plan. And I hope I describe this correctly. Is to have a board with a seriesof bolts with fuses attaching to another series of bolts. Have the battery connections on one side and the run from the front going to a buss bar attacheched to the other bolts. As for my fuse holder.

The plan is to have 2 optima yellow tops and 3 d3100s in the wheel well of my Xb. So I can't just line them up.

Does anyone have experiance with these? And how secure are they?

And is there anyone that makes buss bars on here. I think I remember someone a few years ago ofeering this service but I could be wrong.

I use P3 RCA connectors. I bought about 30 of them over the year. Quality control is great and the connector looks great.

I would expect a good product with any P3 connector. Cost wise - midline.

That does like nice shizzon bit I feel that may be more than I need. Mine would really only need like 6 bolt holes in a line.

Btw where were you planning on placing that.

oh i know, hehe, just showin what all i planned on doing..

I'm building a wall and the battery bank will be right behind it.

I'm thinking about either mounting it on top of the wall(it angles down with the hatch),

or attach it to the back part of the wall.
