The bl will take 1600+ all day if setup properly.

I had a 15bl on a hifonics Brutus 1601 and it sounded great

I had the same exact setup ~3 years ago and I loved it.

It actually made my buddy and I sick once....on some avenged sevenfold song.

sold it cus I needed the money. Don't know if it ever got installed or not.

Haha crazy how similar my story is. I had mine my senior year of hs and lost my job and had to sell it. Last new years I was at a party and somebody came up to me that looked familiar and told me that he had it in his car. I got to listen to it one last time haha.

Assuming your enclosure volume isn't well over the recommendations, and your ssf is set correctly, then you shouldn't have any issues.

it will be fine if everything is set up correctly, as stated above

Not to be a buzzkill but just because some people were successful, doesn't mean you will be. It will depend on your install. Going to state the obvious here...you are going over rated rms power, and those options mostly help the thermal capacity of the woofer, and you have to think about mechanical capacity. Like other people said, watch your gain, and ssf. Headroom is very nice, just have to be smart about it is all.

It should be fine. I have 2 FI BL 12's running off of a Rockford 2500-1bdcp and it wangs. Each sub gets about 1600 watts and it sounds really good.
