That big bright blue voltage meter looks out of place ;)

Are you planning to finish the season off & then sell the sub off to do the multiples?

I love em! I will be buying more for the rear seats and cargo area.

this picture. Even car off... Wouldn't think it would get that low.

Oh that pic. My volt meter is not on the most accurate location. It is connected to a relay, which already has resistent in it. But also, both batteries are connected to this relay, as well as many other things lol. Thats why its that low. The D3100 is never below 12.7 when resting.

So, I'm FINALLY running active :) processing all through the ZED. I have the tweets ghetto mounted right now on the dash, just until I can get my doors glassed. For right now, its just two mids, and two tweets. 2-way active. Early turn on, I am extremely happy!!! So nice and clear.

Ok, so a lot of pics.

And thats it. All now is to spend a few hours tweaking and making adjustments. So far, I am really impressed in how detailed the instruments sounds, how I can literally, hear/feel the vocals. I'm just blown away so far.

For the show tomorrow, I won't be able to burp the 11k :( But thats ok.

I really like that D block!

And I'm really jelly that you can just drop in a giant driver in your door. Not all of us have that kind of clearance. On the upside all the work I did I was able to put the driver in a better position than factory.

Good luck at the show tomorrow!

Yesterday was a great day! Some was bad, some was good lol Rain and cold in the A.M., then sunny and hot AF in the afternoon. Then it got dark SUPER early, and then got cold....FAST lol.

I came out with 3 trophies yesterday. A 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. I am very happy with my scores though. To all I've came behind, had more cone area. Not sure for power, but nonetheless, I did have a daily oriented enclosure, at least this time, with the help of shizzzon, I had some tuning. I always seem to do my best when seans around  I come 2nd and 3rd to a state finals winner, with a very nice setup. This was in DB Drab. I did not compete in MECA except for the Ground Pounder event. As I don't have any fuses in at the moment lol.

Kind of off note, I REALLY like DB Drag. Its a lot more funner? in my opinion. Especially the DB Drag.

Any who, here are the results. Again, I am VERY please. Next up is a more appropiate enclosure utilizing Adrian_D's aero's. When me and Swift did my current enclosure, we were not expecting to use double rms. Next enclosure will defiantely be on the smaller side.

145.3 Sealed on the dash at 39hz

146.3 Driver door open on the dash at 45hz

47.8 in the kick, door open at 45hz

I'm sorry for the big font, but I am absolutely stoked that I did a 47.8. This was after about 20 mins of testing the previous scores, checking for peak freq. So, with new box, I have no doubt I can reach a 50 with this single 15" on 5500watts. Then I'm guessing a 52-53 ish with 11k.

Here are some photos of Adrian_D's aeros that showed up the DAY of the event

All these pictures were taking with my ipod as I left the phone at home

I haven't been feeling so well as of late, so I bought some of this stuff to hopefully help.

And thats pretty much it. One last thing, So my 2-way active has took a dump on me :( the night I installed it, I could have sworn everything was fine. Well now, it seems channel one has gone out, and I am hearing this quiet periodic "crackling" noise, either from the tweets or mids. I'm pretty sure its the tweets. But, I was so fustrated with it, I myself have not looked into it much. Prob gna have to send it in to ZED.

But until the next update, thanks for looking!

P.S.

I heard the LOUDEST two 12's in my life at this event. The guys name is Keith Stinnett. He drives a grey primared S10. Does something stupid, over the 52 mark for sure. He uses PSI soft parts with a memphis motor if I'm not mistaken. I believe he said each sub weighs over 84 pounds and is using 2 4k amps, forgot what brand. But anywho, really loud. lol

Well, by looking at the MECA event, it seems I'm actually done for the season. At the beginning I was in class Street 1. But things have changed since then. Soooo, yup lol. Thats ok, This was a great year for me I think. I've come a long way. So now, I have a few months to save up, and prepare myself for next year.

When the season started, I was using that aq1200 amp. But for the past idk, 3 months, I've been using the BC5500.

Thank you! Port is pucking large AF! Getting wood in the A.M. for the new box.

Just set an appointment for new tires next thursday. This is probably just gonna set me back even more in bills. But its something I need. So I applied for the store's credit card, just don't have all that kind of cash right now. 6 months no interest. I've never shoped around for tires before, but I grabed the cheapest ones they had and read all good reviews. I'll be getting Falken ziex-ze612s. Apparently they are identical to their top of the line model 910.

I had to go this route because of the oddball size of my rims. The benefits of having a "unique" rim set lol. Only about 6-12 tire sets came up for my size. 235/65r18

Alt took a dump last night. I swear, if its not one thing, its another. FML. Anywho, got all my speakers sounding good and set correctly. I am finally content for the following months as stated before. Heres just a random video I took.

BTW, my explorer was running on the D3100 for about, ~60 miles/~1.6hours. From the time I noticed, to the time I got the alt the next morning. Its just a replacement, OEM refurb. Here are some pics.
