Or maybe you can run a Rockford 1500.1? Those new ones hover around 2,000 watts at 1 ohm. Not sure the price on them though.

http://www.audiopipe.com/products/amplifiers/ap/ap-30001d.html you can go audiopipe. I have an 1800.1d powering a 12 Q with knu 4gauge running a 1 ohm. the amp doesnt overheat and it seems to do rated power. (stock alt and battery just big three) I would imagine that the 3000 is also a great amp.

i ended gettin the bl 15" instead im still waiting on that to come in, the amp im getting is the brz1700.1 and dave the box guy is going to be making my box
