Sir are you saying this one Evil is more brutal than two Xcons?  Damn, I've got to hear one!

My XCONs were sealed and this Evil is ported and tuned close to 33.5 hz. Souly based on body pressure it feels a little more painful. ;)

THIS^  Im very curious to your thoughts on this nem, I love my xcons but man you guys putting these evils in and raving about them has me thinking....

I am sure the XCONs ported get very nasty and please don't let my thoughts make you want something different. The biggest reason I wanted an Evil is it fit what I do for fun and I know it had to sound good because SSA would never sell a fart sub.

Also a sub with EVIL on it has to be nasty!

Thanks Lee.

At first I figured Senchez just enjoyed teasing me about the Evil, now I know how he felt. For a single 15 sub I am very happy. :)

Give me the bottom line lol. Which setup sounded best the Evil or XCON's?

I will have to wait until I get the sealed box built to answer that. :)

I guess I could chime innn(: haha well dad bailed. And I coudlnt believe the lows the sub could produce. It was wicked. I was shocked for 1 15 the dash was bouncing and so was everything else. Now the xcon in my car I cannot wait tobhere. I'm gonna beat the hell out of it into submission then recone it to a 15 or take both of them to 12s and get brutal with them. But until then the evil ported is the best sounding single 15 I've ever heard. It's loud and low its a great sub built very well very brutal. Pressured my ears into my skull haha. :)

You are the only person that will ever seal an evil  :)

Not saying that it isn't a good fit for it, but it probably isn't what most people would do with the Evil. I am definitely tuned in for the results, and love the fact that you are trying it out!

I seal every woofer I own.  I am not a fan of vented enclosures.   For home audio, absolutely, but not in-car.   Yet, if you pop the trunk in my car you'll see a W7 in a vented enclosure. coolugh.gif

The sealed box will come after the camry is completed. The box I built for the DCONs will not work for her. Often time she is doing parties and events and has a lot of cargo to carry around and the box takes up too much of the needed area. So I am going to utilize the pass through hole and see hole much space I can use to fit the 2 10" DCONs.
