it seems stronger too me aswell....

but the point of the video was to show the difference in drop,

the old h/0 charged at 14.4 or so.. but would drop to 13.2

but the mechman only charges at 14.1 14.2 but only drops to 13.6 at most normally 13.8

Good stuff. You have a AVBM harness or just direct connect car alt harness to alt?

direct to car. my alt is a PCM controlled... so its a pain to run a external volt reg, and it would throw me a fatal battery sign ..... mechman told me this would be the best option so i went this route.

I was thinking : "not a very big improvment" but I read that the first one was already a HO alt. So it's normal.

You have near 5000 w rms and you don't have too much voltage drops.

Congrats !

yes sir.. indeed it was already a h/o 250 amp.... i think alot of people are thinking the BEFORE video was with a stock alt... and its not..

thanks for noticing ! :D

Reason I ask is because even though I can have a AVBM I am thinking about just skipping it and just going direct. would rather everything be pretty much like stock but with a beefy alt. I will be lucky enough to send my alt in and have the case and anything redone soI can still use my alt on my new ride and am really thinking on skipping the harness this time around.
