2011 Chevy Silverado system help.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I've been a member here for quite a while and every time I needed help with anything audio you guys know exactly what's best and offer the best advice. With that being said, I'mtrying to figure out what's best to put in a 2011 Chevy Silverado LT Crew cab under the back seat. I've found pre made boxes online for 10s and 12s, but I can't figure out what sub to pick. Nothing crazy, I don't even plan to hit over 1000Watts with two 12s. I was looking for input on what you guys would suggest?

Note: probably going to be powered with what's I'm my closet (Alpine m1000).

Also, if you guys know of an enclosure you think would be best definitely post it.

Thanks!

I would look into something like two Dual 4 ohm Dcons.

I'm very limited to the mounting depth by the way. 6in. Max.

I'd find a way to get a Fox Acoustics box up there from Louisiana. They are by far the best under the seat boxes ever mass-produced.

Honestly I don't know, he's a local to me so I see him around when he delivers to the shops.

I didn't see then in the vendors, and they only have 10s but they did manage to get a great amount of volume out of it. I wonder if they can make a 12 box? I'll email them

They are local to me. They don't do internet forums really.

If he only has an enclosure for 10"s then there is a reason. That there isn't enough room for properly ported 12"s under the seat. :)
