Update on my build for Slamology 4th order wall

Recommended Posts

For those that have not seen my build log which is kind of old it is located here.

I am still using 4 old school Rockford Fosgate RFR2215 subs.

Since then I decided to do a 4th order wall in my Mountaineer. Just got it in this past weekend and in time for Slamology. Here are a few pictures

It was designed so I can pull it back out and go back to my ported box if I need to

I took this 2x2 support out and used pipe and flanges instead. A lot more strength

It was a tight fit but my friend and I managed to lift this box and get it in there.

Used a pool noodle to seal around the edge of the wall and around the doors. I wish they had gray pool noodles but this is good enough for a temporary fix for the show.

I used some 1/4" Inch steel at every seat bolt to the floor to secure the box down and it is locked in tight.

I saw this build on another site. I love the pool noodle idea also.

Pool noodle's are a good quick fix when you need to seal something off. they are only $1.99 a piece and two of them was enough to go around the perimeter of the wall.

They can also be used to seal off trunks

Did a little painting today so it is not just bare wood for the show.

Was at a car audio show in indy tonight got to meet a lot of people and give lots of demos. Josh captured this vid for me. He wanted to see his hat dance in my port.

Old punches!

Old Power DVC's on 2800-3000 Watts (Rockford Fosgate T40001bd @ 2ohm)

I am going to play with the port more this weekend and get it dialed in but I am over 150+ on music now. Here is a couple vids I did when I was only hooked up to the rear batteries one 100ah AGM and a Kentik 25ah cap battery.. I should be over 151 on music after I get done with the port.
