Alright.. So my Iphone has decided to stop working with my head unit. When i plug it in, it will either automatically go to error-01 (communication error). BUT, it also does something else I find very strange. It will sometimes play the very first song on my ipod. Doesnt matter whether I go to playlists, or certain artists, it will always switch to all songs and play the first song according to alphabetical order. (My headunit doesnt let me control songs through my ipod, i always need to switch using the head unit which is normal.)

Ontop of this, if it starts playing the first song, i cant skip it, fast forward or even pause. This all causes it to go into an error-01 again.
Lastly, my older ipod nano works along with my girlfriends ipod touch. Im just angry that my iphone wont work.

Manual says error-01 is a communication error. We know it's not the cable since other devices work with the same cable. I would guess it's not the headunit again because it works with other devices.

Do you have anything you can plug the Iphone in to using that same connector to see if it's a problem with the Iphone?
I find that I can see a light at the end down beneath my self-indulgent pitiful hole.
Defeated I concede and move closer.
I may find comfort here. I may find peace within the emptiness.
How pitiful.

Yeah i guess thats the only other option really. I just read that people have experienced the same problems after certain software updates on the iphones and ipods. Guess i have to wait until they put out another update to fix this.

Try restoring the iphone. Whenever I have an issue or other people have an issue with anything ipod/iphone related, i tell them to restore it and once they/I do it works.
