UFO mag compataibility

I have one ufo mag sytle btl right now that I am using, has the cooling and the high-xmax coil....I have had it since new and remember there being an option for the heat ring(pretty sure thats what it was called,) I got everything but that option...would a btl with the heat ring be ok to throw in with mine that does not have that?

As long as they are both of the "UFO" motor style then yeah it will be fine.

What exactly did that option do, but its 100% ok to run one with and one without?

Just lowered inductance and made the cooling work better due to a better compression ratio. Yes it will work fine.
