Nice progress.

Similar amp mounts this round?

Yep, Both 5500's will mount front and the 4 channel and 2 channel will mount under the false floor. Batteries are being moved to the tool box in bed.

No man, I wish. The third sub hasnt shipped yet and I still have a ton of prep work to do to the truck. Everything is still in my truck though so you can get a demo of the two 18's. They do pretty good :)

Looks awesome!

Either that's some small allthread or freakin huge dowel rods.

1/2in all thread and 1 1/4 dowels, the 3/4 all thread was just simply too heavy. My current box has 2in dowels and they are huge, this box I needed all the airspace I could get. I really wanted to stay at 20+ cubes. I really think this will be just loud as balls. Lol the current setup can get pretty brutal. I can't wait to hear this one!

Got another thick coat of resin in tonight and this weekend I will finish sanding and painting it. Then carpet the box black and get it ready to make the trim panels for the wall and think about what sort of beauty panels to do. May stick to padded vinyl or try a carbon fiber look

I like carbon fiber but not the goofy checkerboard stuff most places seem to sell.

That being said I like the padded vinyl you did. It's cheap, nice looking and a lot more forgiving.

No pics because I'm too lazy to take any but got the port all rounded, resigned the whole inside and sanded down with a 220 grit. The box is ready for carpet, I am only carpeting the front and sides, beauty panels will cover most but the uncovered areas I wanted black carpet. The sub will be here next week so I gotta get busy on installing all the new wiring, box and trim panels. I will post pics this weekend

Trying to upload pics, iPhone 5 is acting up, the side by side pics show how large this new one is. I am thinking I might should go ahead and deaden roof while its empty and also run a couple more runs of 2/0. Trying to figure a temp way to cover seal rear window behind the wall. Maybe more 1/2 rubber pad fitted. It could be removed later and should help with vibration or rattle

Haha the truck is very large. I'm 5'11, most people have to climb in it. It's a 4wheel drive f250 with a 3in lift and 35in tires. Yeah the old box is a monster, I used every bit of 5 sheets of 3/4 birch to build it. That's 72lbs per sheet too. Lol

This new box used 6.5 sheets to build.

Man, what you had in there was very impressive !!! I can only imagine what this new setup is going to do ....

I was hoping to find you sunday, wanted to show you a friends setup similar to yours with the tweeters mounted the way I was describing, but you were nowhere to be found ...

Geez dude you just missed it when you left, we had some MAJOR conversations with MECA and several former world champions about the 5.25s going in my dash ... Steve Stern himself wants update on this to be sure I'm competing next season in MODDEX and SQ2 ... I sure could use your wood working skills ..

Anyways, enough of my rambling ... See you soon back in TN !!!

      1. Product: 2 Fi SP4 18s with Carbon Fiber Dust Caps
      2. Specs: Both are dual 1 ohm (0.7 ohm)
      3. Description/Condition: Ran them for a little under a year on low power (Audioque 2200). Magnets have some scratches but the surrounds, baskets, spiders, and coils are in excellent condition. Does not include the original gaskets. A couple of the pictures are next to a 10" Kicker "Competition" (lol) for size comparison.
I threw out the original boxes some time ago, but Fi was nice enough to send me two brand new boxes to ship them in. So these will ship in original Fi packaging.
      7/10 Cosmetically
      10/10 Mechanically
      4. Price: Asking $900 SHIPPED OBO for the pair. Because they are dual 1 ohm, I would like to keep them as a pair. NO TRADES, just trying to get rid of all my stuff.
I'm located in Huntsville, AL 35810. Would be willing to drive to meet someone within reason.
      5. Pictures:

This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s )
This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer.
Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then.
Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery.
There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint.
Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket.
      Price:
      275$ plus shipping
