Now its been awhile so i forgot all the fancy terms but im sure you guys can answer this. So i have my amp set up for my max volum at 25. Now i listen to a lot of reggae and i dont at 25 it doesnt come close to clipping my amp. So is it ok to turn the volume up more?

If it sounds good to your ears and you are not using an amp rated extremely higher than your speakers can handle then crank it up.

Sure when you smell the subs burning turn it down. Or alot of distortion.

Well i have a clip meter than came with the amp so i dont know if i can base it upon that. Smelling my subs burning doesnt sound to safe x.x

It just means the coils are getting hot from clipping.

Thought clipping effected just the amp. Guess i was wrong. Now how smelly is a burning sub?

You will smell burning electrical. Keep the clip light off,
