What is target vent match? what does the M/S stand for. and how do i know what numbers to chose?

If I am not mistaken Stefanhinote has a thread that is relevant to this topic. I'll see if I can find it.

check page 3 of "how good is your port" and see if that helps you. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I would think m/s stands for meters per second. Do you mean "vent mach" not match?

They say at .10 you get unwanted port noise, and too low like .02 is too much port area and wont perform correctly. From what I have read you want to target .04 to .055 range. This will be based on port area, Xmax of the sub(s) and power (rms) you will be using.

If this is wrong then I suck at reading
