Nice job! I've never seen this method used before. Can't wait to see the results. Will you be able to add any deadner to it? Or is this the only acoustic enhancements you will be making?

This will be enough for resonance. As far as road noise, I'm not really concerned with it. I just want to make sure I don't have any structural damage on the sheet metal from flexing.

Interested in seeing this method vs the 3 layers of deadner method for aquiring the same results.

Wow does that box look amazing. Nice work on it! Do you have pics of the subs? I never saw any in your preorder thread. Only saw the motor and I haven't seen any other threads with pics.

Figured I'd just put the amps on the back.  The rectangular opening towards the bottom will be a false floor for access to the spare tire.  The car has factory vents on both sides of the fender wells that I will be attaching exhaust fans to pull air for cooling the amp area.

In case you didn't look closely at the photos, the port is wrapped in suede.  That is not paint.
