using online prices as a guide :

4 18 DP @ $509 x 4 = $2036 , cone area - 1017.36

6 15 DR @ $339 x 6 = $2034 , cone area - 1059.73

guess which 1 i would do

imo the DRs are more musical than the DPs too

That's not "retail"

DP18's are 689-2756

I'm sure DR's are more musical. I'm sure the DP's will be fine.

well those are the prices i got off the SSA store

I know lol. I didn't know retail until I got the email from them. That changed ish a lot.

Vertex audio has the retail prices for a few drivers which is how I found the 18s retail price.

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Updates and shitty ones lol.

Truck blew up last night on my way to see my girl. Definitely not good lol. Hoping it's only a lower intake manifold gasket. Much cheaper to fix lol.

One good update, I've got my fourth D3100, now I need two more.

Got some gear today!

One of my 18s(three more in route) and four comp sets. These subs cannot be described. I'm honestly blown away by the build quality of these. I ran a good number of various drivers last year, and for these to be hand built in Alabama, it's amazing. Absolutely beautiful. Pictures do these no justice at all. Way beefier than I thought too.

Oh it's not the 21?

18"

21's use the same size I think. I think a long throw 21" driver is out of the question, well within reason. That's a massive moving assembly ya know? Think of the cone are gain from a 15 to a 18 then to a 21.
