Okk so I was cruisin on another forum and saw the box requirements for the X series. For the 10s it says 1.25-2 ft3. I'm going to give it around rated power, so I'm going to put 2 10s in around 4 cubes net. Damn that's going to be pretty big for just 2 10s. Jacob also said that to really get the excursion, bigger boxes will really make that happen better.

I think I'm still going to go with them. That's what I was thinking! It's crazy what the box needs to be for the 10s lol

Well the X and Z v.4 have the new surround and suspension(I think it's new) and they do work in the "normal" sundown boxes, but when testing them they worked great in bigger enclosres tuned low. They told me if I wanted the crazy excursion showed in the videos, I should go with a big box.

I had my 1 Zcon 12 but since I had the room for a Zcon 15, I bought one from bigjon. He's a great guy!

I designed the box to be 4.4 cubes tuned to 33hz with 80in2 of port area. I finally learned how to do use google sketchup. It won't let me download the screen shot in photobucket.

Might be hard to see, but every corner and the port mouth is rounded. I did it all by hand. I didn't know how to use my router haha

This is what I needed. I got this paint from walmart. It has the 2 in 1 primer & paint. With a lot of sanding and this it makes it looks really good.

Don't have the Zcons anymore. I'm doing a build with 2 12" Xcons. I have one now, but waiting on the other. I bought a Xcon motor from Julian on here and ordered a basket/recone from SSA. The basket/recone should be here within 3 weeks.

VEHICLE:

2012 cherry red Fusion Sport

AUDIO EQUIP:

Sundown SA-6.5 comps
Sundown SAX-125.2
2 12" SSA Xcons
Sundown SAZ-2500
Stock 150a alt

Stock batt
Diehard Platinum 31m (rear)
WeldingSupply
Stinger Volt Meter
Stock Radio and AudioControl LC2i

BOX:
Subs and port front firing sealed off from trunk. Most likely around 32hz.

NON AUDIO:

Tinted windows 5% all around with 35% whole windshield
Blue VVME HIDS
Red dome lights
LED GLOW lights
