Seriously the best job I ever had was working with a complete asshat. I learned a shit ton. Problem was at first I believed him, when I finally realized the real learning started.

You can learn a lot from a asshat sometimes...
So you have some value then.

Maybe a little...lol

I doubt you would expect this from me, but this is one you have got to watch/hear. My favorite musician/singer in his offbeat side project. It is Maynard of Tool/A Perfect Circle fame. Killer version of this tune.

https://vimeo.com/87377136

Wake up, son of mine

Momma got something to tell you

Changes come

Life will have it's way

With your pride, son

Take it like a man

Hang on, son of mine

A storm is blowing up your horizon

Changes come

Keep your dignity

Take the high road

Take it like a man

Listen up, son of mine

Momma got something to tell you

All about growing pains

Life will pound away

Where the light don't shine, son

Take it like a man

Suck it up, son of mine

Thunder blowing up your horizon

Changes come (Changes come)

Keep your dignity (Keep your dignity)

Take the high road (Take the high road)

Take it like a man (Take it like a man)

Momma said like the rain (This, too, shall pass)

Like a kidney stone (This, too, shall pass)

It's just a broken heart, son

This pain will pass away

By far the best concert I have been to. I've seen them twice now.

The version of indigo children they played, i have been trying to find ever since. It was beautiful.

If it isn't snow, it's rain. I've been able to accomplish nothing outside.

Raining and storming like hell here! And I needed to till the garden when I get off work.

It's time for a power blackout drinking session maybe.

When all else fails drinking until you can't pick up a glass is usually a good, responsible choice.

Great tune. Not the live version, but for others to enjoy... Turn on your subs for this...

Glad you have your mind right Matt. I may not be Sean, but you have my number if you need to vent some shit out.

Hell one of the NCO's in Arizona had my number, and he only called when he needed to vent the bullshit out, and get some clear cut blunt perspective.

Sadness seems to have filled my daughter's senior class. Around 3 am this morning one of her best friends and boyfriend were killed in a car accident. I was lucky enough to know this young lady and she spent many weekends with us over the years. While death is tragic and I feel so very sorry for the parents I am so thankful my daughter choose to come home last night after the ball rather than go out with her friends.

This is the first death she has had to deal with in her adult life, so things are going to be a bit rough for her, but mom and dad will be by her side.

Things like this help put life into perspective and never miss one chance to pass along a smile and hug because you just never know.

That is horrible. I'm glad you have raised such an intelligent child and have made a relationship where she feels safe at home with family.
