Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Recommended Posts

Ugh, seems like every time the weather changes here I get sick.

It seems to be mostly allergies but hard to tell. Allergies meds didn't work today. Generally I avoid taking meds but the allergy meds tend to take what feels like the second coming of strep throat and makes it subside.

I've ingested enough Vit C for 2 months and am pounding the agua. Here's to hoping a good night sleep runs it off.

Adrian, you are always killing it. Are you buying a house just for rental income?

Aren't you an entrepreneur here as well?

It's killing me, until we finish it I expect some rough months.

Yeah, I want to invest in something, an apartment to rent out is a good option, it's close to the medical schools, where a lot of foreign students are. So it has potential, even it for the first few years the rent will barely be enough for the bank payments, eventually it will be a good basis for further investment, ie to remortgage for getting the down-payment on another apartment or for rebuilding the house, for better rates than what I got from the bank now for the down-payment.

Very nice.  I need to do that on theIS.

Same here...

The nice white "Mercedes Benz" writing on the calipers would draw attention during a random test from the DMV, since these brakes are DIY'ed. Black black black

Pap turned 97 today. It is very humbling knowing what he has been through in his life, most of which people of today will never understand or comprehend.

Happy belated birthday to your father!

Next step would be to somehow rake up the money for new Miata coilovers. It's not much and I want it back on the road by April, when the weather is nice.

When you take away one excuse there is always another.

The laziness of today's work force is at a level I can not comprehend.

The work I did for $5.25 an hour, today pays $14.25 to start without the $1.25 shift diff and people still bitch, complain, and quit.

I must have been raised wrong.

Out of curiosity how much further did your dollar go then?

That being said, down here 14.25 isn't horrible.

I'll be back to job hunting here in mid March. No classes this summer, and the bills need to be paid.

I started a family, paid my bills and still saved money.

This is entry level, stocking production lines, keeping the area clean and taking a break every 2 hours.
