Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Recommended Posts

Sean i would love to bring them over.  Running on a balanced XLR. From the pre out on my integra 5.6.

If I can run them straight from the PC then ill be super happy.  I will be able to bring the integra into the bedroom and then buy some high WAF speakers and a mini sub.

I cannot believe how amazing the midbas is.  I really want to hear yours side by side Sean.  It would be super fun.

I need to lift them.  It was getting heavy holding them at arms length to ear height for the whole first act of Carmina, but I won't have to invest time in my shoulders this week then.

You have yours on armatures?

I have some el cheapo monitor mounts that I bolted mine too :P

You will make me want to pull out a real amp.  I am using a little $20 class T amp, lol

You already buy?  What?

Car: 2015 Subaru BRZ
Tweeters: Tianle AMT40-4 3/4" AMT Car Tweeter
I thought I'd give these a shot. I was going to use them as a set of "super tweeters"
Midranges: Hybrid Audio L4
Unfortunately I'm finding that these will not fit. Bought Fountek FR88EX 3"
Midbass: SB Acoustics SB17MFC35-4 6.5" Poly Cone Woofer
Sub bass: Options here.
1)12" Mag in a sealed 1cu.ft. enclosure
2)10" Adire Brahma in either a small sealed box, or ported 1.2-1.5 cu.ft. box.
DSP: Helix V Eight DSP 75x8w @4ohm

still need sub amp

Sharemouse/Litemanager/InputDirector I assume aren't as smooth as just an RDP?

If  Mr Hinote (SSH) still frequented the H0P he'd probably have a great idea

Dying to see where you aim/fire those.  The Fountek's will surprise you if you can get them on axis.  Pretty killer response all on their own.  Definitely better than the L4 in that regard.

Probably going in stock location something like this down the road.

I think it explained more why most hip hop is useless.  If it all followed the breakdown she gave, I'd listen to more of it ;)

It is funny to see the added complexity, but then you look at someone like Miles Davis who purposely plays things that are definitely not in the key just for that purpose while also doing the same rhythmic manuvers....and then realize he is doing it improve and can just make shit up like that in real time ANYTIME.

Of course I also understand if 99% of you reading this think Miles gives you a headache if you listen to him.

Seriously can that be right?  Andrew Zimmern normally isn't wrong.

Jazz and hiphop remind me of the same thing.  Its a conversation and sometimes gets funny.  Doing this that shouldn't work.  Those leftover notes, the things that go against the rules but work.  If you ever heard a jazz song asking and answering, you get it.

I don't enough about music theory....

The major take away here is don't marry a Kardashian and don't start a war with Russia.
