Downside to the S8+.

 

Despite being amazing..... I will have to buy a case.  I have dropped it no less that 10 times easily.  A 3 inch drop onto some concrete actually shattered a corner of glass on the back and damaged the metal.

 

On Sunday night I dropped it and it was spiderwebbed all over.  Most of the drops were from me not understanding friction.  The 3 inch drop and many others were from me setting the phone down and it's so slick it slid down the subtle curve of a poolside lounge chair. 4 times.  Even after I set it on my shirt as a little nest.

 

The big drop was me.  Walking a buddy to his car in the driveway, stubbed my toe and it flew out of my hoodie pocket when I spun around.

 

Most of the other drops were from sitting down/geting up to/from taking a shit or something similar and it slid out of my shirt pocket.

 

God bless insurance.  I probably have a billion GG5 slivers are this point.

Aidan got the game winner tonight.  Best part is he team is all 7 or 8 and the youngest player in the other team was 9.

Other team had much better skill players, but weren't a team.  At this age being one is unusual, but perhaps our coaching is paying off.  Sure was fun to watch.  I was A LOT more riled up that he was, lol.

The goalie got a small finger on what would have been his second as well.  Game was awesome.  I got the goose bumps at one point during it.

What I learned today is doing concrete is best left to people who do it everyday, but I am a hard learner. Sure was a good workout as I am fighting this age thing. The good news is SJ and JD honey are making things less painful.

Thanks guys. It seems the older you get the more breaks you need! I need Dr. Lindsay to make a super cell to keep me from aging.
