That should be the 6 speed.  Those are pretty good actually.  Worth a junkyard swap if you want to chance it.

It’s an automatic, not sure of the gear count.

I would rock ‘n’ roll a used one all day long if it were my personal ride. Would also allot myself the time to do the job personally.

The last front wheel drive engine/tranny swap took me about eight hours by myself.  But I had the donor car, and a shop. I would be cussing for a week with this thing about all the specialty tools I fear also. No engine hoist either.

Basically hoping the cost to have someone fix it doesn’t outweigh that.

I thought we pissed off the Kanuks and I was going to have to fight off the Red Leaf Army.  MN and WI the first line of defense!  In times of strife it will unite our states.

You never know who might toss out a maple syrup slur and shit hits the fan.

:folds tinfoil helmet:

It was pretty intense here as the spare cell phone went off behind me so I had stereo invasion warnings.

On a completely unrelated topic, Dayquil and french press are not to be taken without care.

I will give you 3, all of which I have used.

Malco epic ceramic

Xpc3 ceramic

System x

Of the 3 xpc3 is going to be the best bang for your money. If and when let me know. I can buy and ship to you at cost.

My hopeful future son-in-law started detailing vehicles on the side recently. I was showing him the ones you whipped out. Turns out quite a few people have asked him about doing ceramics.

Awesome! Just don't let him fall for do the wash, clay, and IPA wipe unless the paint is perfect. (people are doing that) I believe you must always correct everything in the paint before applying even if it is just a light cut to remove oxidation then a polish.

I have a local detail shop that is doing work I don't agree with, but people are still paying them. I have fixed one car with swirl marks under the ceramic and that was several hours of cutting and bringing back to a high polish.

I am always here to help as much as I can. My goal is the best bang for the money as the most expensive ceramics can be quite misleading with their advertising and marketing.
