Awesome.  Has to be fun to see in person and even more so to shoot.  Nice work!

Now, after the papework is done for the house and we have everything lined up to start building next spring, Amazon emails me for a job in either Toronto or Vancouver....

Such a tough decision...

It means they need to sharpen their pencils on their offer. ;)

It's just an invitation to the interview, would be the second one, I already had a first interview with them in 2018.

On one side, I can't complain about life here, in-laws are close, we're getting ready to build the house, the city and country is safe, I can spend time with the kid and wife instead of slaving away on a job.

On the other side, the pay has way more potential than here, there are other opportunities for all 3 of us on the other side of the pond (jobs, education, travel, hobbies).

I think the biggest factor would be distance from the in-laws.

Average rent here is 4x lower than in Vancouver, and where I live rent is the highest in the country.

Average pay for my position is 6x lower compared to Vancouver.

Let's say I want a new Wrangler, I'd pay here as much as in Canada/US. Or even more. So ignoring the real-estate, consumer goods are really closely priced.

It's great to shoot and when watching in person it's less stressful and very relaxing.

A three year gap in interviews? Did you lose out barely to someone in 2018 and now they are circling back?

Distance is a huge factor and important too. Hopefully whatever decision you make proves very fruitful for you!!!

It was a different hiring round and I decided not to continue then.

I always think it's worth interviewing. Sometimes you get to interviewing and you realize it's not at all what you think it is but way better. Sometimes it's just worth talking yourself up for a bit or getting some leverage on a current employer.

I may post on a similar topic in the RTMS ;)

Nothing you said matters.

Quality of life.

No more than that.

I'm going to spam some more work. If it's something you guys don't want links for in the H0P, let me know. The articles (unless noted), interview, and photos are from me.

BKFC 19 Press Conference: https://www.rocketsports-ent.com/bkfc-press-conference/

Interview at the PC with Britain Hart and her new husband (and BKFC heavyweight champ): https://www.rocketsports-ent.com/nterview-with-the-bkfcs-britain-hart/

BKFC 19 Weigh Ins: https://www.rocketsports-ent.com/bkfc-19-the-weight-drops-the-tempers-rise/

BKFC 19 (article by my editor Travis; photos by me): https://www.rocketsports-ent.com/bkfc-strikes-again-in-tampa-as-ostovich-upsets-vanzant/

It was a solid three days too. Met some solid people at all three events.

I didn't drive the E63 though.

90% sure I am putting some money down on a Durango Hellcat and Cadiilac CT5 Blackwing.  Neither can I "buy" atm as there are waiting lists....but if, then perhaps, I will own one.
