TVS or Twin Screw.

Which is quieter.

Follow up question, when I do headers and cat removal (for the track of course) how do I keep the truck as quiet as possible?

My infatuation with keeping the rig "for a long time" is waning (imagine that lol). Figure that means a PD for FI makes the most sense as it is easily removed and either sold or repurposed.

Only like 17" around right now, and a little chubby.

Miss the 20" gun show.

The TVS will be a hair quiter, but has a higher pitch to the whine. I choose TS. Whipple or go home.

I know I have small ass arms, but big legs for my size. Trying to add aize to both parts.

The Whipple also comes in a 2.9L vs the 2.3L Magna. Just don't want something super loud...in fact I'd rather not know it is there. If it is going to scream doing it at higher rpm is fine.

How much lower would make removing the step acceptable?

Twin screw baby!

That thing will be more exciting with the low end stank from the screw. Unless you have the turbos tuned like a diesel.

I know on my 550 the turbos kick in so slow and smooth it's barely something you can feel. You have to have the shift and the load both be in the wrong place to not have boost.

Going to cost me another $5k on a tranny though....although that was probably a given either way. Not going to spend that money until I break it, but expecting it.

Lol, I wish I gained 180 pounds or more when the arthritis kicked in.

I'm probably 410-425 depending on if I just pissed, took a dump, or am dehydrated.

I've also never owned a roots. Turbo and Centri but it's a first. Nearly bought an E55 and this ought to be even more fun.
