Would prefer to hop the other pond.  I don't really need more schnitzel.

Aaron, I just overcooked my processor.  Tell me if you notice a bump in the boinc numbers please.

I got a lot more than I expected on my first try.

MK - if I had your C701/H701 combo and either only one analog or digital source do I still need a headunit for volume control?  Reason I ask is that it would be a really simple boat install since all my other crap got jacked last year.  I already have processing...but it was a monstrous shit show the way I built everything.  4 analog pots, line driver, 2 miniDSP's, a DC isolator, etc...

I assume the answer is no, but have never had a C701.

Haven't had the chance to hook them up, but the manual says volume can not be controlled once hooked to a HU, so assume it has volume control otherwise. No automatic alt text available.

I believe the answer is yes. I had a Bluetooth module that connected to a 3.5mm to RCA cable. I used the C701 for volume.

My phone is my source on the boat.  No need for anything else.  If that works I'd be interested in your setup.  Would like to make sure.  I know J is about to find out...but he is also expecting a box from me a couple weeks ago so I can't imagine that the timing is uber fast.  If you sell before then please do but otherwise :)

That's pretty much exactly how mine was setup with a Bluetooth bridge. I set the phone volume to "max" and then controlled the volume through the C701.

Do you need more than 2way+sub? The $80 HU I bought does that, has Bluetooth, aux and USB.

I believe I have that same monitor at work, it was on sale at Best Buy the other week for 149.99.  Really nice display for that price.

I bet it is. It's 27" 1080. It's overkill for web browsing, but it was so nice working on Lightroom last night.

Doesn't have all the fancy colors, but it should be good for the Instagram and occasional print.
