Got offered the DoD job!!! Just gotta pass the background check, which should be no problem.

Also a change in hours not 7 am to 6 pm, pick your 8 hours, but rather 5 pm to 1 am. So for how I sleep that's damn good.

Random arthritis flare up today. Maybe it was from being in traffic yesterday.

It took me nearly 2 hours to make it across the city in 90+ weather. No REAL AC.

I'm so much better at dealing with the pain now but Fuck if being sleepy isn't more brutal.

Only hard stuff works to perk me up too. Vicodin really perks me up. That or anti nsrcoleptic meds, mmmm fighter pilot pills.

Preface: our neighborhood has no sidewalks, so I just walk the dogs in the street. Never allow them on to anyone's lawn/property.

So I'm walking the pups and all of a sudden Willie decides right then and there he's gonna take a nice big shit. A little old lady yells out to me "SIR! ARE YOU GONNA PICK THAT UP!?!?" to which I respond "No, ma'am!". I guess her son was there doing chores or some such so she went and got him.

"Sir! You're not going to pick that up!?!?" he asks.

"No sir, I'm not" I reply.

"That's against the law! I'm calling the police!"

"Public roadway, sir!"

...

...

"I'm calling the mayor about this!"

"Alrighty!" *waves*

Nosy neighbors are fun to mess with...

You leave poop in the road? Gross.

Then again my dog probably leaves dumps the size of most people's little puffballs.

The only real problem was I ran out of cold water. I filled the camel back with ice and water before I left, and I polished off what was left from the drive down before I hit the highway.

I should invest in some neoprene and sew pouches for those things. Maybe even invest in the insulated hose.
