I wish I was brave enough to do what you are doing Adrian.

Deep down inside I'm scared. I've NEVER owned a gas engined car and I'm going with my backpack full of tools, just in case. So if poopie hits the fan...let's hope it doesn't.

The seller accepted my offer. Now I need to book bus tickets and win the hardtop auction so I can get the hardtop too.

Zoom ZoomZ!!

Now we need to talk Sean into getting a Mazda to tool around on. wink.png

Zoom Zoom ! ! !

Leaving Monday evening for Germany to pick it up. It's going to be a project since it's been sitting for a while. Needs all maintenance done, fixing some rust on the rockers (seller sent me detailed pics), interior detailing and new seats, as current ones are beige on a black interior.

Post photos please.

I laughed. We have a Defender in the back, I drove it in and got a little lost.

Why has the 70-200 USM IS 2 gone up so much?

I found it for just under 2000 when it came out and now that SOB is no less than 2300.

Ugh Land Rovers...

I have to say, the Jeep gearbox is smooth as butter. With a short shift it would be perfect.

BTW, something that is really really cool and I didn't think it would be?

The Deck from solrepublic and Motorola.

It is one of the slickest devices I have ever use.

Wife wanted speakers for her computer and this will do that and a lot more. It's a really cool device.

I'm going on Sunday to a small powerlifting "competition" held by the gym. Any pro tips apart from plenty of warm-up, good form and focus?

Eat something small. Warm up with light weight but focus on form. Formformformform.

Good luck.
