Recommended Posts

It's a newer explorer, local guy here can toss a single SA-12" into his on a D9 and do 50's. lol

Just figured it'd be a little higher.

Ok, So I placed my content on three other websites, D4S and ROE or the others listed above really didn't seem to have too much traffic going through.

You said in your first post you have owned a UFO BTL. How would you compare the evil to the btl?

Sounds more musical. The BTL was more of this in your face sound, now that I think about it, similiar to the zcon, but the Evil is a complete different sound. It sounds a lot more around you if that makes sense.

Wow, more musical than the zcon yet the Evil is more of a spl sub. I plugged the numbers on that bcae site and it seems the Evil is more a sealed box sub. Any confirmation on any of that?

That is one bad ass sub. Any plans to try it in different boxes in the future? A 4th order or perhaps just a higher tuned ported box just to see how many db that single 18 can do.

Yes it is! Yes, I will be building a burp box for comps. I will not be doing a 4th order.

On a side note. I didn't do as well as I wanted down at SBN. I did Park and Pound 3 for MECA. I did a 121.7 6 feet away at 42hz, then the next day I did a 120.6 at 32hz. Talk about being flat :)

I was thinking about trying 2 15" evils in my work car in a wall. But I could probably only support a 5k amp on the electrical, think they would do ok on 5k.
