HELP ME BACK UP U.S.AMPS TO THE NON BELIEVERS!!

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, I have been using U.S.Amps all my life and nothing else has impressed me as much as them. However, whenever I stick up for U.S.Amps by claiming they are better than the new Rockford, JBL, etc.

People laugh and start claiming how U.S.Amps are never seen in any world finals of SPL or SQ, or rarley seen.

I dont have any info on what U.S.Amps have accomplished throughout the years as far as Sound championships or anything goes, and I cant seem to find anything on the net, so could the people that have the info post here with links or info in order to arm me and other followers of U.S.Amps? Thanks~!

Who cares what corporate backed sponsorships have done? I certainly wouldn't be impressed with a line of amps if someone told me they've won X number of DbDrag finals, or IASCA SQ championships, etc...I'd want to hear that user's install and let my ears decide :)

But if you want competition info, Termpro would be the logical place to go, at least for SPL...

Yes me too 'install and let my ears decide' but im talking about when others bash U.S.Amps, It would be nice to have some info on some accomplishments of U.S.Amps in competition to back up our amps.

*shrugs*

If I ran all Milbert amps, I wouldn't worry about the fact that a typical "enthusiast" rasied on a diet of the Fast & the Furious had no clue what it was...:)

But that's just me...

I think their reputation is enough. I cannot tell you the last time I saw a US Amps advertisement anywhere and they have no problem with sales, so that should tell you something.

i think the reason a lot of people dont know about usamps is because way back when, it seemed like thier target demographic was mainly competitors.... how old are these people that are givin you crap?

I heard of USamps through competition. Just like i heard of TruTech through competition. When i was first getting into audio at around 13. Guy worked for my dad who ran almost every line of DD drivers and used nothing but USamps.

THen agian that was back when USamps was bassed out of gainsville, which is 30min from my house.

its not the amp nor the subs that win the comps so its of no value.

Anyone that bases their opinion of a product by the number of records it has certainly won't care about this fact :)
