Atomic 3000.1d and 2 FI BLs

Recommended Posts

Would it be smart to run the BLs down to 0.5ohms for daily use if I upgraded all my electrical? The amp is an Atomic 3000.1d

atomics are usually stable at .5

But you highly increase the risk of having your amp puff the magic dragon

i would ask you why?

They delivered yesterday, so unfortunately not. This wasn't the amp I had originally planned on getting. I could always just get another and strap them I suppose.

Are you going to use your setup for competions? Or just a daily driver.

2000 @2

3200 @1

It sounds crisp and clear at 2ohms, nut near enough power for me though.

Do you have a upgraded alternator and a rear battery?

XS Power D1200 in the back, stock alternator though.

Then I wouldn't double your power without electrical upgrades. Like a high output alternator and two runs of o gauge wire to the amps.

Depending how far the amp is from the secondary battery in the rear will determine if two runs of wire to the amp are needed. But two positive runs of wire is needed for the front battery to the rear battery connection.
