I prefer this look.

Just out of curiosity, why all the 8's? I'm not trying to bag on your setup, just wondering why not use a larger driver and less of them.

dont know how the numbers are going to look with the port covered mostly by the seat but can give it a go if i decide to go this route. As far as why... well i had 6 already so might as well get 6 more. Plus havnt seen a wall done with 8's before. Would be pretty unique and one of a kind. Again, don't know how the numbers will stack up tho...

That's right I never thought about the seat...

It is unique, and it's kinda cool watching all those little subs getting down. 6 more would be chaos.

Not trying to turn this into a poll or a design thread, just looking for input before i start to build the false floor and design/plan further.

yessirr! so eager to get the funding for the other 2 3500's, then i can start on the extension of the amp rack to accommodate my mids and highs amp

About to order my mids and highs and am planning on running a 5K High pass filter crossover with them. The website specifies that they can handle 250 watts RMS and are rated at 8ohm. I am planning on getting 4 selenium 8ohm tweeters and running them in parallel to have a final ohm load of 2. My question is, do i only need 1 crossover which would be wired right at the exit of the amplifier channel before it goes into the 4 selenium tweeters or do i need to wire a 5K high pass crossover to EACH tweeter and THEN wire them in parallel?

Hope that made sense.

If they block frequencies at 8 ohms then put a crossover before you add the wires rogether and drop the load. It would be hard for a crossoveer rated at 8 ohms to effectively work at 2ohms.

4 super tweeters is a waste, 2 will be more than adequate.
