12' Mags sound good ported?

Looking for recommended box size and tuneing to produce the most bass

I have some competition now... so i decided to take out the back seats and install my other mag and port it.

I don't know 3cuft 35hz for some street beating?

I like to tune lower...

MAgs sound exceptional vented or sealed. For best results, follow Nick's suggestions on the site.

If you want MAX SPL, don't expect your daily driving to be pleasant atall. I think you mean you want it as loud as you can get it musically.

i suppose, like i can get it pretty loud as is sealled with just 1.. but im really woundering what the best size for a ported box would be... and also would cented be better than ported??

I think he meant "vented".

its for 2 12"s max width is probably 37 and hight 14-18

the depth can be adjusted as need'd because my rear seats are outie :)

anyways i want a double front baffle also just so i know the subs wont fall out :)

so bassically i have to go with

3 cubes tuned to 32 Hz

4 cubes tuned to 28 Hz

?? because i am putting 2 in it :)

oh forgot to mention, the vid I shot of the MAG, it did awesome in 2 cubes at 27 hz, just a side note to think about

That would sound great, it will be louder if you tune higher but will not have nearly the SQ.

I was just mentioning it so you did not feel like you needed 3 cubes per sub, but you can. From what I have seen on here so far, the MAG is a flexiable sub. If you want more output tune a little higher and if you want go for the larger box too, the MAG can do it.

^ what the others have said. Tune higher for a larger peak, or you can tune lower for massive street bass. Keep in mind that if you tune above 50 and it sounds like arse for daily driving don't be surprised.

fyi 69hz is nasty for daily driving, but gets above 150 pretty easy :)
