Two 15's = double the ft^3?

Recommended Posts

Basically what im asking is that if I want to add another 15, I will build a new aero-ported box. What is a good way to estimate how much volume i should have? One of my 15's requires 3.5-4 optimal ported volume, i was thinking about increasing to 6.5-7.5 for two? Having a 12 ft^3 trunk really sucks sometimes...

Most trunk cars won't actually allow for a pair of 15s to fit properly unless you build the enclosure inside the car.

What is the sub you are using? I doubt it would fit through the trunk opening. You will probably have to build it in the trunk. You will have to add more port area too.

it would be assembled in the trunk, and it would be two hifonics brz15d4's. I managed to grab a new one for 58 bucks shipped, so i figure I will continue a budget style build and see how far I could take it

I'll take 12s in proper enclosure over 15s in a cramped enclosure period.

Hell yea same here. If the 2 15s don't work. Stick with one or sell them and buy some 12s.
