Recommended Posts

I just aquired a DieHard platinum group 35 battery. I also have a kinetic hc600. Would they be safe to run in parallel together?

The only issue is when mixing different chemical batteries such as agm with standard lead acid batteries is that the larger one may (over time) drain the smaller one. But it would have to be depleted and sit for a fairly long time.

I made the above mistake mixing different types agm & non agm. My main battery died and i just replaced it. Car starts great now and my hids dont flicker/dim anymore but both my amps are cutting now and low voltage indicator is on. Is it possible one of the cells went bad in my hc600? Checking grounds as we speak and going to have battery tested

anything is possible.

I own a 100A load tester and agm battery charger.

Between those 2 and a DMM and ammeter.. those 4 tools are mandatory in my book for testing in this hobby.
