Will they dig low like if you tuned to 30 or 32. An 18 inch

Depends on what low means to you. 20hz? 28hz? The sub will get low no problem in the right box. Give it the necessary air space with proper port area and you will be blown away.

I have one tuned to 32 hz it plays down to like 25 with authority but after that it starts to slope off. Its a great daily sub too, loud as shit compared to my AQ subs I used to have in.

Does it need the whole 2500 watts to be happy? If you put a clean 1500 watts on it will it still bet pretty loud?

If you're only giving it 1500 rms, you could save some money and go with the model below.

But 1500 rms will be fine on it. Build your box on the bigger to compensate for the low power.

What's your box like? Changing your box can improve output.

It will get louder at 1500 watts than any other of the other subs in the line, it is one of their most efficient drivers...

The 2500 rating is a thermal capacity rating, it has nothing whatsoever to do with power requirements, at all, in the slightest.  Seriously.

1500 watts isn't low power, for any driver.

I figured watt for watt it would be louder 89 db vs 94.9 db sensitivity

First box 3.4 @33 hertz then 3.8@ 38

Now 7.5@ 28 in box for my 18.

13.5 x 4

Is that for the 18? That needs more port area.

You have no idea if that is too small for an 18, or any driver for that matter, without modeling for vent velocity with given power drive level.  There is no rule of thumb for port area...
