HD Line- (High Definition)

 

The HD line is a line of Mono amplifiers with Full Range Class D frequency response up to 15KHz with amplifiers currently rated from 1200 to 8000 Watts of power @12.6v. Product of high yield, innovative design and edges (Front and Back) on ABS, which provides greater security at the time of their installation, these products have RCA type inputs, (L and R), to seize the entire mix of a song directing to a single output.

This line uses SMD technology resulting in less heat buildup(less heat dissipation required), smaller heatsinks, smaller footprint, less internal parts required, higher efficiency(mid to high 70% @ low ohm stability level).

This is what it means-

Maximum Musical Consumption- Max current the amp will draw when a speaker(s) is wired to it's lowest stable ohm load and "rise" to a given figure.

Maximum Sine Wave Consumption- Max current the amp will draw on a FIXED Resistance.  This is the current draw typically given by other buildhouses.   

 

All of the following amplifiers listed under the HD Line come in 1ohm AND 2ohm models!

The following listed specs are of the 1ohm version.  The 2ohm versions share the exact same output power except at twice the impedance.

The HD1600 comes in 1, 2 and 4 low ohm stability models.  Efficiency levels of higher ohm load amps vary but typically are about 2% more efficient.

This line of amplifiers come in 2 or 4 channels and 1 5 channel.  These amps come in 1ohm or 2ohm stability models and all ratings below are of 1ohm model. Expect slightly higher efficiency with 2ohm models.  The 5 channel only comes in one version.

Taramp's also offers a 300mF cap we do not see a need to offer, several high voltage power supplies and several high voltage DC amplifiers(40-340vDC)

 

Because of the nature of how to supply to these amps, we do not stock these.

 

We may special order them but are never stocked.
